RBA'S ORGANIC FARMING SEMINAR AND FARMERS' DAY
RBA sponsored an Organic Farming Seminar and Farmers’ Day last September 16, 2022 at Barangay Buensuceso, Arayat Pampanga.
It was attended by hundreds of farmers who came from nearby municipalities of Pampanga, Tarlac and Nueva Ecija. Mr. Nicolo Aberasturi, President of the Downtoearth Inc., discussed the process as well as the benefits of organic farming.
Organic Farming aims to promote sustainability and the preservation of our natural environment by avoiding the use of chemical fertilizers. Thus, it is widely considered to be a far more sustainable alternative and also cost effective given the rising costs of chemical fertilizers.
RBA will continue holding similar workshops to help farmers in its areas of operation by introducing new farming methods, promote sustainability and improve the earning capacity of farmers.
